Organic Herbal Lip Balm

Our Method

We believe good things take time. We handmake our herbal infused Organic Herbal Lip Balm in small batches following time honored methods, with only organic ingredients.   First, we infuse organic medicinal herbs in organic olive oil for 4 to 6 weeks.  As the herbs are immersed in the oil, the herbs release medicinal properties into the oil, which is then used to make the lip balm. Next, we go through an extra special step to further extract the herbal medicine through a low heat extraction for 4 hours.  To top it off, we add super moisturizing oils and shea butter. 

 

Our lip balm will melt on your lips, leaving a natural looking shine, and is unflavored (because we think less is more when it comes to what we put on our bodies).

 

How to use

Simply apply to lips as needed.

Calendula:  A powerful all-around skin healer.

 

Rose:  Contains a variety of vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals to help combat dry skin. 

 

Chickweed:  Promotes healing of the skin. 

 

Comfrey:  Helps promote healing of damaged tissue.

 

Lavender:  Soothes skin and assists in healing of the skin.

 

Plantain:  Soothes the skin and promotes new cell growth. 

 

Olive Oil:  Rich in oleic acid, omega-6, and omega-3 fatty acids.

 

Sunflower Oil:  High in oleic acids and vitamins A, D, and E and very moisturizing.

 

Rosehip Seed Oil:  Deeply hydrating and high in vitamins A, C, and E.

 

Beeswax:  Helps to form a soothing and protective barrier to allow the skin to heal.

 

Shea Butter: High in fatty acids and very hydrating.

 

Vitamin E:  Hydrating and protective, this antioxidant also acts as a natural preservative.
