What is a salve, anyway?
A salve is an ointment made from herbal infused oils and beeswax, and sometimes includes butters. As the herbs are immersed in the oil, the herbs release medicinal properties into the oil, which is then used to make the salve. Salves have a long history to treat a variety of skin conditions like rashes, cuts, bug bites, diaper rash, and even sore muscles.
Our Method
We believe good things take time. We handmake our herbal salves in small batches following time-honored methods, with only organic ingredients. First, we infuse organic medicinal herbs in organic olive oil for 4 to 6 weeks. Next, we go through an extra special step to further extract the herbal medicine through a low heat extraction for 4 hours.
Our Organic Herbal Salve is an all-purpose salve that can help with rashes, bug bites, cuts/scrapes, and dry, cracked hands.
How to Use
Simply apply to the affected area throughout the day as needed. For best results, apply liberally before bed.
Important Product Info
Our products are created from natural sources so variation in color, scent, and consistency is expected. Salves will stay firm at room temperature but will melt at higher temperatures (due to the natural ingredients used). Avoid leaving salve in direct sunlight or near a heat source. If the salve melts, simply put it in the refrigerator for a short time and it will firm back up.

Calendula: A powerful all-around skin healer that is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial.
Rose: Antimicrobial and astringent, rose can help to relieve stings, and bug bites and heal the skin from burns.
Chickweed: Anti-inflammatory and soothing, chickweed can help to relieve skin irritation.
Comfrey: Helps promote healing of damaged tissue.
Lavender: Antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic, lavender can help heal cuts, scrapes, and burns. We include lavender flowers in our infused oil, as well as lavender essential oil in our salve.
Plantain: Anti-inflammatory, astringent, and soothing, plantain helps to remedy bug bites, stings, rashes, and burns.
Olive Oil: Rich in oleic acid, omega-6, and omega-3 fatty acids.
Beeswax: Helps to form a soothing and protective barrier to allow the skin to heal.
Sunflower Oil: High in oleic acids and vitamins A, D, and E and very moisturizing.
Rosehip Seed Oil: Deeply hydrating and high in vitamins A, C, and E.
Vitamin E: Hydrating and protective, this antioxidant also acts as a natural preservative.
